BIBA 2018: Geo Underwriting makes bold debut

This June, over 7,000 industry professionals headed to Manchester for the annual BIBA conference, where Geo made a bold entrance with its new name and brand after unveiling it in the market earlier this year.

On the eve of the two-day conference, Geo formally launched its new brand with the help of broker and insurer partners at an exclusive pre-BIBA party.

CEO Paul Dilley spoke to guests about the transformation changes Geo has undertaken in the last twelve months and the team's commitment to evolving its specialist products and adding value to all of its stakeholders.

With over 350 guests joining the Geo team at the impressive 20 Stories rooftop venue, another successful conference was successfully kicked off for Ardonagh's Underwriting business.

On the Wednesday morning, a record breaking 7300 attendees entered the exhibition hall where Geo's stand looked sleek and sophisticated against a backdrop of corporate heavy displays.

The stand was a hive of activity over two days with brokers dropping in to find out more about the brand and the services on offer, in addition to entering Geo's tech bundle prize draw.

Following the success in 2017, Geo also held broker meetings in a VIP meeting space within Mr Coopers bar and restaurant located opposite the exhibition hall, giving the team the opportunity to talk through the detail of their speciality and niche products.

As the door closes on BIBA for another year, it's safe to say the first conference as Geo generated a tangible pipeline of opportunities for the team to follow up on over the coming weeks and months. Watch this space!
