David is a Direct & Facultative Property specialist, with 38 years’ in the Lloyd’s, London and Bermuda markets. David was most recently involved at the start-up stage with Allied World (Senior VP, 2002-2011) and Channel Syndicate (founding partner, 2011 – present). He previously led Direct & Facultative Property at XL/Brockbank (1998 – 2002) and Generali (1993 – 1998).
Clodagh mostly recently worked at Axis (Senior VP 2012-2017) growing and running the International Property book. The property book grew profitably from 15% of their portfolio to 40% and she also wrote a select few binders. Prior to that she worked at Allied World (VP 2004-2012) and was the lead property underwriter for their syndicate. She started her career at Volkswagen’s Reinsurance Captive in Dublin (2002-2004).
Nick started his career at the Meacock Syndicate in 2004. He gained his insurance experience there in all classes of non-marine insurance and moved to Allied World in 2011 as an AVP in the international direct and facultative property division. There he grew a profitable book of primary and first excess business as well as a portfolio of binding authorities.
Following five successful years at The Channel Syndicate at Lloyd’s, Jack joins Geo Specialty to underwrite the Property portfolio. Jack previously worked in Exposure Management at Pembroke, but following his preferred route to become a Property Underwriter led him to Channel, where he developed the required skills to fulfil his ambition.
Emily most recently spent three years working as a member of the International Property team at The Channel Syndicate. Prior to that, she held a 6 month Actuarial Internship at HCC International after graduating from the University of Southampton with a degree in Mathematics.
